Environmental Consciousness



If every person on Earth planted and cared for at least two tree seedlings each year, the world could make up for the loss of trees to deforestation over the previous 10 years in the next 10 years.

Reduce your carbon footprint, and eat well too!


  1. Eat less meat.

  2. Eat from local agricultural sources as much as possible.

  3. Support farmers' markets. (21)

To which I would add: Grow your own!

  1. After loggers 'select cut' (I called it raping) the 13 acres I lived on in the Selkirk mountain range, I replanted 250 trees. That small task erased the loathing I had for loggers. Now I just don't like them! ;)
